Месяц назад я тиснул статейку «Еще немного ступора«, в которой обсуждался вопрос военных трофеев Тихоокеанской компании, сделанных из японцев. Т.е. берется череп япошки, заботливо отдемократизированного из огнемета бравого американца, полируется и отправляется в США в качестве трофея. Все счастливы.
Вот, например, статья на англопедивикии: American mutilation of Japanese war dead. Ее краткий надмозговый перевод существует в русской версии: Расчленение тел японских погибших американскими военнослужащими:
Во время Второй мировой войны, некоторые американские военнослужащие расчленяли мёртвых японских солдат и мирных жителей на Тихоокеанском театре военных действий, забирая части тела в качестве «сувениров войны» и «военных трофеев». Зубы и черепа были наиболее широко распространёнными «трофеями», хотя и другие части тела также коллекционировались.
Кроме всяческих ТП, кусочек японского тела был подарен Франклину Рузвельту:
«Трофейный» феномен был настолько широко распространён, что его обсуждение занимало видное место в журналах и газетах, и Франклин Рузвельт сам, как сообщается, по данным Конгресса США, получил в подарок посылку — нож из руки человека (Рузвельт позже постановил, чтобы «подарок» был возвращён, и призвал к надлежащему захоронению).

Ну это уже про заключительную фазу войны. А до этого всего лишь огнеметы и планомерный отстрел мирных жителей. Кстати, под американской статьей есть в списке другая: «Военные преступления японцев», а про военные преступления американцев ничего не написано, т.к. такого не бывает. Бомбежка мирных городов атомными зарядами входит в разряд «гуманитарных бомбардировок».
Я не намекаю, что японцы были белыми и пушистыми. Они были редкостными тварями и заслужили все, что с ними произошло. Однако, я за объективность! Американские военные преступления должны быть признаны и озвучены наравне с немецкими, японскими и английскими.
Немцы — за концлагеря.
Американцы — за бомбежку мирных городов атомными зарядами, без всякой необходимости.
Японцы — за абсолютно бесчеловечные опыты над китайцами и славянами (Отряд 731).
Англичане (и амеры тоже) — за бомбардировку и полное уничтожение мирного немецкого города Дрезден.

I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your blog, however suppose you added a headline that makes people want more? I mean BLOG_TITLE is kinda vanilla. You might peek at Yahoo’s home page and note how they create article headlines to get viewers to click.
